A year ago, I took on a task that was as much about learning how to do it myself as it was about getting it done.
I learned about building a DIY kitchen and a DIY bathroom, and I learned how to build a DIY deck and a mini kitchen for my two dogs.
But there was one thing I had never learned before: how to make furniture from scratch.
In the months after I got that project off the ground, I built the first house I could afford, a simple house that was a product of my own creativity.
I built it in six months.
And while I still had a lot of work to do, I had no reason to feel discouraged.
I had the tools and the resources to get my project off to a great start.
My house was built with the help of a team of talented, hard-working people who were just as committed to getting it built as I was to making it happen.
This project is all about making you a better home builder, a better entrepreneur, a bigger house builder.
To get a sense of what it takes to get your house built, check out the video above, where I show you how to use a home builder’s tool kit to make your house more like a workshop.
The first house in the project is called the DIY House.
It’s the first project in my new series, The Craft, where we’ll explore how to create and build a whole house on a budget.
You can see more projects like this one in my upcoming book, The Home Builder’s Toolkit: A Complete Guide to Building a Home, from which this series is adapted.
To see more from The Craft series, check back here.
The home builder and I are excited to share with you our next project, the Home-Made-For-Door-Dwelling.
You’ll learn how to construct a home using the most common building materials, including lumber, stone, and wood.
You will also learn how you can use home-grown ingredients to craft your own DIY projects.
The Home-Built-For Home-Dying is a house with a name.
You see, it’s not just the name that’s fun, it also lets you know it’s a living, breathing thing.
And in the end, it will be a home.
I can’t wait to share this amazing house with you.
I know you’ll love it as much as I do.
You’ve got the tools, the time, and the patience to build it.
You’re in the right place, and we’ve made it happen, together.
