Posted May 25, 2018 09:17:48 A cat’s life was saved by an owner’s instinct.
The cat’s owner, who has not been named, went to the owner’s home after the cat was injured.
The owner said he had been in the garage when he saw the cat lying on the floor.
“I had been out for a few minutes before I saw him lying on his side on the ground, bleeding,” he said.
I just grabbed the cat and I just started to pull him out.””
I said ‘Oh my God, he’s got a big gash in his neck’.”
“I just grabbed the cat and I just started to pull him out.”
Then I realised he was unconscious, he wasn’t breathing and he was in pain.
“So I tried to pull the cat out but he wouldn’t move.”
The cat was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
“It was just like he was dead in the water,” Mr Kline said.
The owners’ instinct to get help helped save the cat’s human life.
“When we saw the owner coming in to help us we just just thought ‘This is the cat we have always wanted, he is our cat’,” Mr Klin said.
